Loom / reference
the operating system

The operating system.

The stuff that doesn't change week to week — the rhythm, the anchors, the arc. The week page is what's live now; this is the why underneath it.

Principles

Sleep is the keystone.

Everything else bends around the 5:30 wake and a 10:30 bedtime. Mood, patience, training, output all track it. Protect the clock first.

Price the output, not the input.

Clients pay for the result, not the hours. Productize it.

Warm beats cold, every time.

Warm intros close at 50%+ vs. 4–8% cold. Dad's network and referrals come before any cold batch.

Don't bring Othonia home.

The day job funds the runway; it doesn't get the evenings. Evenings are family + the build.

Forgetting a day isn't a failure.

Miss the checklist, miss a scripture block — fine. The rhythm survives a missed day; guilt is the thing that derails it.

The weekly rhythm
Every day

Workout, then scripture

Lift or cardio at 6am (8am Sat), ten quiet minutes of prayer + scripture right after. Body up first, or you'll fall back asleep.

Mon

Push · finance hour

Evening: sweep money, glance at the numbers, admin.

Tue

Z2 · distribution

Evening: LinkedIn — a post + a few DMs.

Wed

Pull · client block

Evening: the most overdue client work.

Thu

Legs · distribution

Evening: second LinkedIn post, different angle.

Fri

Z2 · Loom-day

Evening: the Friday Loom block — record + send outreach videos. Then the evening is yours.

Sat

Upper · deep-work

Mid-morning deep-work block, then family.

Sun

Rest · review

Church, family, a walk. Sunday review in the evening — done here in Loom with Claude.

Daily anchors
Faith

Prayer + scripture — 10 min, right after the workout

Move

10+ min walk outside

Body

5 min mobility before bed

Wind-down

Phone out of the bedroom by 9:30pm

Reflect

One-line journal before sleep

Training — the arc
Phase 1 — Engine + body
now → mid-Aug

PPL + Upper accessory (4 lifts) + 2 Z2 cardio sessions a week, 1 rest. AM lifts anchor the 5:30 wake. Build the base.

Phase 2 — Add the engine
Sep–Nov

Cut lifts to 3×, add swim / bike / long-run. Endurance starts to lead.

Phase 3 — Race build
Dec → race

2 maintenance lifts + 5–6 swim/bike/run sessions. Half-Iron on the horizon (~12 months out).

Business — the leap
The goal

$4,000/mo in steady income → Joni comes home

Phase 1 of the leap. No childcare cost once she's home, so $4k replaces her. Keep the number in mind and build toward it.

The niche

Solo counselors

Sites + AI retainers. Matthew is the proof; Dad's network is the warm channel.

The channel

LinkedIn + Friday Looms + warm intros

Content for top-of-funnel, personal Looms for the shortlist, warm intros to close.

The offer

Build → AI retainer → maintenance

A site build, then a monthly AI/automation retainer, then light maintenance. Recurring is what moves the leap.
